  2. Lowest offer = the P where profit equals $10.00 ≈ $57.18

Pre-filled rates are from eBay selling fees (US), checked on 27 October 2026. Fees vary by category, country, plan and over time, so enter your own rates if they differ. Results are estimates. Fixed per-order fees and the tier limit are in US dollars, so switch the currency to USD for eBay.com. Results are estimates: actual eBay fees depend on your category, store subscription, seller performance and the final order details.

How to use the eBay Best Offer Calculator

  1. Enter your listing price, item cost and postage.
  2. Set the minimum profit you will accept.
  3. Optionally enter an offer you received, then press Calculate.

Formula

Profit at offer = offer + shipping − eBay fees on that total − item cost − postage

Lowest acceptable offer = the offer where that profit equals your minimum.

Examples

  • Listed at 75, cost 30, postage 9, minimum profit 10, default rates: lowest offer ≈ 57.18; an offer of 60 earns about 12.44.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the default rates come from?

From eBay’s official selling fees pages for eBay.com, for most categories with no store subscription, checked on 27 October 2026. Some categories (for example certain clothing, collectibles, jewellery or business equipment) and store subscribers pay different rates, so change the fields to match your case.

How do I use the result on eBay?

In the listing’s Best Offer settings you can set a price below which offers are automatically declined. The lowest acceptable offer is a sensible value for it.
